Katie brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role as an educational consultant. With a Bachelor's degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Master's in Education from the University of Virginia, she has nearly two decades of dedicated service in some of the world's most prestigious boarding schools,

Throughout her career, Katie has played a multifaceted role in shaping the boarding school landscape.
At Foxcroft School, she served as the Atheltic Director and also a coach, teacher, director, and administrator. As a valuable member of the admissions committee, Katie conducted interviews, identified promising applicants, and worked closely with families.
At Leysin American School in Switzerland, Katie founded the Ambassador Leadership Program, empowering students to interview, identify, and mentor incoming peers. Her role as Dean of Residential Life was closely intertwined with the school's admission process.
At St. Albans School in Washington, D.C., Katie was an integral part of the admissions team, specializing in coordinating financial aid. Her responsibilities included conducting tours, advising families, and conducting interviews, including those with international applicants.
At Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia, Katie served in various capacities, from directing activities and trips to teaching history and coaching field hockey. Her contributions extended to interviewing applicants, reviewing admission files, calculating financial aid, and active participation in admission committees and panels.

Over the years, he has contributed to the boarding school landscape in transformative ways—whether as a teacher, coach, or administrator, Rich’s passion for this community has been constant.

At Blue Ridge School, He wore many hats—Teacher, coach, and admissions committee member. His contributions included interviewing applicants, working closely with families, and helping shape the school’s admissions strategy.
At Virginia Episcopal, His role as Director of Recruitment was pivotal in connecting residential programs with admissions.
Millbrook School, Rich specialized in admissions and financial aid coordination while conducting interviews with both domestic and international applicants, offering families thoughtful advice throughout the admissions process.
At St. Anne’s Belfield, Rich’s roles spanned teaching, coaching, residential life, and admissions, all while contributing extensively to admissions committees and financial aid decisions.
At Sayre School, Rich has played a pivotal role as the Director of Athletics in expanding the school’s athletic offerings, including the addition of football, girls’ lacrosse, and boys’ volleyball. Under his leadership, both the football and girls’ lacrosse teams have won state championships. Rich has also been instrumental in fundraising, admissions, and marketing efforts, contributing to the school’s overall growth. In addition to his leadership role on the school’s Leadership Team, he has coached lacrosse and soccer for eight years and is a certified U.S. Lacrosse official.
